Recognizing & Healing Trauma in Horses
Carla will be heading back to Montana to facilitate another Being with horses…Clinic hosted by Emily Anderson at the beautiful Anderson Ranch in Emigrant, MT. Carla has studied with Sabine for the past eight years, and Emily has been practicing the Being with horses philosophy with her herd for the last three years. Their relationships with their horses have forever been changed, and they would love to share this philosophy with you!
Who:
If you are struggling to connect with your horse, are feeling disillusioned by the traditional horse world, or are simply yearning to build a true friendship with your horse, then this clinic is for you. We will have 5 spots open for people to bring their horses, and 8 spots open for auditors. Auditors will participate in all somatic and experiential exercises exploring presence and body language, and will be able to observe sessions with the horses.
What:
For this clinic there will be a specific theme, which is recognizing and healing trauma in horses. In order to cover this topic appropriately, there will be a didactic portion that will take place in the form of a webinar prior to the clinic.
The clinic itself will be tailored towards the themes and needs of individual participants and their horses, and will offer a well-rounded introduction to the Being with horses… philosophy. Together we will take a look at the relationship between horses and humans, acknowledging it for what it often is, and exploring and envisioning what it can be. We will reconnect with our awareness, learn about communication through body language and presence, and explore a new way of being in relationship with our horses that is based on mutual care, understanding, and love.
